Mark My Words

By chrishonmusgrove32@gmail.com January 24, 2026

Mark my words—this page is yours,
A place to lay down hidden wars.

If silence has stitched your tongue in pain,
Let ink unfasten what remains.

If shadows told you not to speak,
Here, your voice is strong, not weak.

If love was absent, harsh, or cold,
Your story still deserves to be told.

No parent’s weight can bind your song,
You’ve carried silence far too long.

Begin with whispers, broken, small,
They’re seeds that rise, they’re roots that call.

Mark my words—your truth is near,
Write it raw, and write it clear.

This is the start, the door, the key,
Your voice unchained, at last, set free.
